| How to Book |
Room Reservations - you can book your stay at Higher Melcombe Manor by telephone or email.
Bookings are accepted and confirmed pending receipt of 50% deposit (by cheque or bank transfer), and balance payable on departure (by cash or cheque). Minimum stay of two nights at weekends. |
| Arrival - between 5pm and 6pm and Departure by 11am. |
| Double Rooms from £105 per night. Single Room from £75 per night. Cooked breakfast included! |
| We regret no children under sixteen (because of the working farm), and pets by arrangement with Lorel & Michael (and Alfie our lurcher…). |
| Smoking is not permitted at all in the bedrooms or other guest areas on the top floor, but we don't mind the occasional smoker in the drawing room - with agreement of other guests staying. Smoking on all terraces is fine. |
| Broadband and mobile reception poor/intermittent here. It’s partly the magic of Melcombe. Best to do your work, internet searches and printing before you come! Then, you can move from the virtual world to the real world seamlessly and enjoy your stay. Blackberries are things on bushes here... For any urgent calls, though, you are welcome to use our landline. |
| The Great Hall can be booked for ceremonies and events by a deposit of just £200 by cheque. Please note that you have to book and pay for the separately. |
